Group Capt Subhanshu Shukla, India's hero, whose calm strength and insightful reflections continue to inspire many, reminded us that courage, purpose, and perspective shape true leadership in space and beyond.

As I reflected on our interaction, a thought that often crosses my mind, and infact, the same as i say always resurfaced: When we meet someone locally in Hyderabad, we say, “Hi, I’m from Hyderabad.” When we’re in Delhi, we add a little more: “Hi, I’m from Hyderabad, Telangana.” When we’re in Singapore, we broaden it: “Hi, I’m from India.” And when we cross oceans, we may even say, “We’re from Asia.”

Yet, when humanity reaches space - when we look back at our fragile blue planet - we still introduce ourselves by nationality.

This, I feel, is what must evolve. The feeling of “One Earth, One Space” is missing in the collective consciousness of our global space community.

This was a similar way, in which Group Capt Subhanshu Shukla expressed it during our interactions.

It is not just a philosophical idea; it is a vital mindset everyone that can redefine how we collaborate, explore, and coexist beyond borders...

In listening to Subhanshu, I was reminded that the journey ahead is not only about technology or exploration, it is about expanding our sense of belonging.
